How it started
While training for a marathon, Anat experienced a running injury and saw a physical therapist. That experience prompted her to change career direction and pursue physical therapy.
She earned a B.S. in Kinesiology with a pre-physical therapy emphasis from San Diego State University, then her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University.
Finding Integrative Manual Therapy
During clinical training in Las Vegas, Anat was introduced to Integrative Manual Therapy, an approach that considers how the body's structures and systems influence one another. It matched how she already thought about patients, and she went on to become a Certified Integrative Manual Therapist through the School of Integrative Manual Therapy in Connecticut.
Restorative Wellness
Anat has practiced physical therapy since 2010 and founded Restorative Wellness in 2017. The practice is built around one-on-one, 60-minute visits with Anat, who also personally handles prospective-patient calls. She takes a limited number of new patients.
Her practice spans orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, women's health, lymphedema and persistent pain. She has a particular clinical interest in cranial, facial and cervical dysfunction, including jaw and TMJ problems.
Outside the clinic
Anat is the mother of three boys. She lifts weights, hikes, bikes and runs, and loves time with her family and the occasional interior-design project.
