FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral?

Cash-pay patients can contact Anat directly without a referral. Medicare patients need a physician prescription or referral for physical therapy.

Do you accept insurance?

Restorative Wellness is a cash-pay practice, with the exception of Original Medicare (Medicare Part B), which is accepted. Other insurance plans are not billed directly.

Do you accept Medicare?

Yes. Original Medicare (Part B) is accepted. Medicare patients need a prescription or referral from their physician.

What does treatment cost?

The 60-minute initial evaluation is $150, and each 60-minute follow-up visit is $150.

How long are visits?

Every evaluation and follow-up visit is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with Anat.

What is Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT)?

IMT is a hands-on approach to assessment and treatment that considers how different structures and systems of the body relate to each other. It is one of the foundations of how Anat thinks, alongside other manual therapy and exercise-based methods.

What conditions do you treat?

A broad range, from back, joint and sports injuries to jaw, neck and headache problems, post-surgical recovery, women's health, lymphedema, persistent pain, and physical symptoms associated with complex medical conditions.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move and gives access to the areas of concern. Bring a photo ID, any relevant imaging or reports, a list of medications and, for Medicare, your physician's prescription.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on you. After your evaluation Anat will discuss what she found and a recommended plan. The number of visits varies with your condition, goals and response to care, so no fixed number can be promised in advance.

What happens after I request an evaluation?

Anat personally reviews your request and calls you back to talk through what's going on, answer questions and, if it's a good fit, schedule your in-person evaluation.
