Why it matters to you
The area where pain is felt isn't always the only area involved. A shoulder concern may involve the neck or rib cage; a jaw concern may involve posture and breathing. IMT gives Anat a structured way to consider those relationships and the physical factors that may be relevant to your symptoms.
What it is
Integrative Manual Therapy is a hands-on approach to assessment and treatment. Anat uses it to consider relationships among joints, muscles, fascia, neural tissues, breathing mechanics and posture.
What a session feels like
Most IMT techniques are gentle. You remain clothed, and Anat uses her hands to assess and treat, often holding positions or applying light, sustained pressure. She checks in throughout and adjusts to your comfort.
How it fits with other care
IMT is one tool within a broader physical therapy plan. Anat combines it with other manual therapy, strain-counterstrain, neural tissue techniques and functional exercise, chosen for your specific situation.
