Post-Surgical & Injury Recovery

Recovery rarely follows a straight line. Anat guides rehabilitation after surgery, injury and car accidents, including cases where recovery has stalled or new symptoms have appeared.

Clinically reviewed by Anat Burda, DPT, IMT-C

What patients commonly describe

  • Rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery
  • Scar tissue restriction and post-surgical stiffness
  • Recovery that has plateaued or become complicated
  • Whiplash and injuries from motor-vehicle accidents
  • Falls, sprains and other acute injuries

How Anat evaluates it

Anat reviews your surgical or injury history and any precautions from your surgeon, then assesses the healing area and the compensations the rest of the body may have developed.

What treatment can involve

  • Hands-on care including scar and soft-tissue work
  • Integrative Manual Therapy and strain-counterstrain
  • Progressive, protocol-aware rehabilitation exercise
  • Return to work, sport and daily life

Every plan is individualized. Visits are 60 minutes, one-on-one with Anat. Learn more about her approach and Integrative Manual Therapy.
